Merrill Frailey  |  Pastor

Serving in ministry for over 20 years, Merrill’s experiences are vast including: Teaching women’s bible studies, leading book studies and workshops for men and women. She speaks at conferences, retreats and corporate events, and facilitates the Sweetly Broken workshop which she wrote in 2007 and is a study in inner healing. She has held youth director positions and also managed the Family Life Center at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park, Florida. Merrill has traveled leading Mission Groups state side and abroad. She is part of a program that her church created to help orphans and vulnerable children in Naivasha Kenya called Panua and traveled there the past three summers to serve.  In addition to her role in the church, she is the also the founder of Merrill Frailey Life and Family Coaching. She received her life coaching accreditation from CTA, Coach Training Alliance, and ICF Accredited Institution.  Merrill is more than familiar with balancing a professional career and family, as she is the mother of 5 children ranging from 14-30 years of age and is now a grandmother for the first time.  Merrill would love to meet you, so please call the church office to schedule an appointment.

Craig Willson |  Director of Worship 

Craig Willson joined the staff at CPUMC in August of 2015.  His music ministry calling began in 1998 at Trinity United Methodist Church, while finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Central Florida.  While there, he also served in the role of Director of Compassionate Ministries.   Since that time, Mr. Willson has served in a number of churches  in the Central Florida area.  

Wendy Carr  |  Office Administrator

 
Wendy joined the staff in the midst of Hurricane Irma and hit the ground running, even without power or internet. Wendy graduated from Georgia State University with her BFA in Studio Art and Textiles. After an intense and creative career that included work for Lacoste and Walt Disney, she is excited to be spending more time with her husband Philip and young daughters (who attend the Child Development Center on campus) and be an integral part of the CPUMC team.

Craig Lewis, a Tennessee native, transplanted to Orlando in 2015.  Beginning his career as an educator, he moved into nonprofit work when he found his calling to help build community through his own personal struggles.  Craig’s work has helped churches and nonprofits in the Mid-South and Central Florida to increase membership and awareness through programming, development, and community building.  He has a passion for developing community through health and wellness, social justice, and Jesus.  Craig is excited to begin working in the College Park community, and is already in love with its’ people and history.  When not working, Craig is a storyteller, painter, and always striving to live like a local.  
 
 

Mitch Herman  |  Worship Director for Anthem

 
Mitch graduated from Full Sail University in 2010 with a degree in music business and is the founder, president and CEO of MMH Entertainment. He loves singing and playing acoustic guitar, both in the worship band and at home.  He and his wife live in Winter Garden where they are enjoying renovating their house.

Morgan Claytor  |  Design Team

Morgan joined the staff in early March of this year as the interim Office Administrator and is so excited to be a part of such a loving community. Morgan’s background is in graphic design. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts and has been running a graphic design studio with her husband, David, since then. She and David are part of Merrill’s sprawling tribe, adding a couple of grandkids to Merrill’s bunch…Millie and Eloise.

Janel Willson  |  Sunday School Coordinator

 

Janel began attending church at CPUMC in August of 2015.  Not long after coming here, she began serving as leader of the MOPS ministry (Mothers of Preschoolers,) and also started a  women’s small group and bible study.  She is excited about the opportunity to share bible stories and the love of GOD to the youngest members of our congregation as she steps into the Sunday School Coordinator Role.  She and her husband, Craig, have three kids (Camerson, Makenzie, and Trent.)
 

Colleen Tenney |  College Park Youth Coordinator         

 

Colleen and her husband Sean have three kids (Morgan, Aiden, and Dylan) and have lived in College Park for almost 20 years.  The Tenney family are active members of CPUMC and are excited to see it grow.  Colleen is a pre-school teacher and excited to take on growing CPUMC’s youth program.

 

Elizabeth Preston-Hughes |  Lay Leader     

                           Elizabeth is a lifelong resident of College Park and LOVES her membership at                               CPUMC.  She and her wife, Stephanie, share their home with their puppy Max                               Saunders and can frequently be seen covering the neighborhood with Max in                               his all terrain buggy.
